creative ideas and projects for making children understand the ecology.?
Well my theme for my summer program for children 8 weeks is a kind of "green." I would like to incorporate environmental care in general effiecency energy, natural alternatives rescourcesfuel. I would like to incorporate the following: the nature appriciating, external security, camping, conservation of wildlife, animal or plant identification, for sun protection, basic first aid for children. I'm looking for the project, the track and feild trip ideas and any idea you have, if you have any topic title suggestion, throw it on me, as I'm having trouble thinking of a title to tie it all together. We live in a rural community in Kentucky one hour from both Louisville and Lexington. we have so many programs here earth friendly as I'd like to expose children, but I want to expose possible to realize what is really happening with the world around us. any help you can offer would be great.
A great way to make children in green living, is that recycling cans home, plastic and any other paper. Explain what each aluminum can could do, what recycled paper can be done. Reuse everything you can on camping trips, take metal plates to clean instead of using paper plates, use of dead wood for the fire and explain why they use, etc. Camping is a great way to expose children to the great world of nature.
